Petroleum Jelly is a semi-solid emollient widely used in balms, creams, lotions, lip-care and skin-care formulations. It helps soften the skin and forms a protective barrier that reduces moisture loss.

Smooth, homogeneous, semi-solid jelly; typically white to off-white/translucent depending on grade.

Odour:
Practically odourless to very mild characteristic odour.

Solubility:
Insoluble in water. Compatible/miscible with many oils and other oil-soluble materials when appropriately processed.

Shelf Life:
Typically 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored correctly in a clean, tightly closed container.
