Perfume Solvent (Denatured Ethanol) is an alcohol-based solvent designed for use in perfume and fragrance formulations. Its high volatility and good solvency make it suitable for dissolving and carrying compatible fragrance compositions while allowing the fragrance to disperse effectively after application.

It is particularly useful for preparing alcohol-based perfumes, body fragrances, fragrance sprays and other suitable perfumery formulations.

Unlike DPG, which is a slower-evaporating carrier commonly used in perfume oils and fragrance blends, ethanol-based perfume solvent is particularly suited to formulations where quick evaporation and fragrance diffusion are desired.

1. What is Perfume Solvent?

2. What does “denatured ethanol” mean?
