Product Description

Smooth, lightweight nourishment for skin & hair

Mango Butter is a soft, creamy cosmetic butter valued for its moisturising, emollient and conditioning properties. It helps soften dry skin and improve skin feel while adding smoothness and richness to personal-care formulations.

Compared with heavier butters, Mango Butter generally provides a smooth, less greasy skin feel, making it particularly useful in creams, lotions, body butters, balms and haircare formulations.

It can be used alone where appropriate or blended with carrier oils, other cosmetic butters, waxes and emulsifiers to create customised DIY skincare and haircare products.

Suitable for:
Creams • Lotions • Body Butters • Lip Balms • Soaps • Hair Masks • Hair Conditioners • DIY Cosmetics

For cosmetic and DIY formulation use.

Key Benefits

For the infographic/product highlights later, I would use:

Deep Moisturisation — Helps nourish dry skin and reduce moisture loss.

Soft & Smooth Skin Feel — Provides emollience without an excessively heavy feel.

Skin Conditioning — Helps improve softness and suppleness.

Hair Conditioning — Adds richness to conditioners, masks and other haircare formulations.

Multi-Purpose Ingredient — Suitable for a wide variety of skincare, haircare and body-care formulations.

Safety Information

For cosmetic and DIY formulation use only. For external use only.

Avoid direct contact with eyes. Patch testing of the finished formulation is recommended before regular use, particularly for sensitive skin.

Do not introduce water or wet utensils directly into the container. Keep the container tightly closed after use.

Store away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Mango Butter may naturally soften or partially melt at higher temperatures and become firmer in cooler conditions. Such changes in consistency do not necessarily indicate deterioration.

Keep out of reach of children.

FAQs

1. Does Mango Butter smell like mangoes?
Usually not. Cosmetic Mango Butter generally has a mild or nearly neutral characteristic aroma rather than the strong fruity fragrance associated with fresh mangoes.

2. Can Mango Butter be applied directly to the skin?
Yes, it can be used directly where suitable or incorporated into skincare formulations. Patch testing is recommended before regular use.

3. Is Mango Butter water soluble?
No. Mango Butter is oil soluble and is normally incorporated into the oil phase of a formulation.

4. What is the difference between Mango Butter and Shea Butter?
Both are useful cosmetic emollients. Mango Butter generally has a smoother, somewhat lighter skin feel, while Shea Butter tends to provide a richer, more characteristic buttery feel.

5. What is the difference between Mango Butter and Cocoa Butter?
Cocoa Butter is generally harder and adds more structure to formulations. Mango Butter is typically softer and creamier, making it particularly useful where a smoother texture is desired.
