Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (CCTG) is a lightweight, versatile cosmetic emollient widely used in skincare, haircare and personal-care formulations. It provides excellent slip and spreadability while helping create a smooth, silky and less-greasy skin feel.

Commonly derived from fatty acids and glycerin, CCTG is particularly useful for improving the sensory feel of creams, lotions, serums, body oils, balms and other oil-based or emulsified formulations.

Appearance:
Clear, colourless to very pale yellow, mobile oily liquid.

Odour:
Practically odourless to very mild characteristic odour.

Solubility:
Insoluble in water. Soluble/miscible with many cosmetic oils and other oil-soluble ingredients. Compatibility should be checked in the intended formulation.

Shelf Life:
Typically 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored correctly in a tightly closed container.
